We are currently recruiting for 2 temporary Project Analysts. We anticipate the project completion date will be approximately May 31, 2013. An attractive remuneration package, considering skills and experience, will be negotiated with the successful candidates.

Job Summary

The implementation of the Next Generation EHR: Primary and Urgent Care Services project within Oceanside Health Center will demonstrate the first implementation of a new model of EHR development leveraging a fully integrated (paperless) electronic health record all enabled by leading edge information technology and a inter-professional team electronic documentation that will focus on a holistic approach to patient-centered and sustainable health care. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for implementing a variety of projects, providing strategic planning support and change management services by performing benefits analysis, workflow and business analysis.

Using formal data gathering techniques and analysis, you will identify system deficiencies and ways of improving business efficiency functions through project deliverables. Additionally you will prepare Requests for Proposal and evaluate vendor responses seeking out the most effective, efficient and economic solution in support of the project objectives and goals. Other key components in this role are to provide system support to users during the development and implementation of various systems and applications by performing duties such as troubleshooting system software problems, testing alternative solutions, and providing end user training during implementation.


In addition to a degree in Health Information Sciences, Commerce, Business Administration, or Computer Science you have 5 years recent experience in project management, system analysis, design programming, and the use of a formal systems delivery methodology.
