Reporting to the Coordinator, Student Services, you will help coordinate an institutional welcome for all programs and offer a series of activities and events throughout the year that foster student connection, community development, and a greater awareness of University resources. You will provide event planning administrative support for the RRUSA (Royal Roads University Student Association).

Required Qualifications/Competencies (education, skills and abilities):

  • A registered student at RRU
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Experience successfully organizing activities and events
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment
  • Enthusiasm for welcoming new learners to RRU

This is an on-call casual position working approximately 10 hours per week (which will include evenings and weekends) for an approximate six month term. The salary is $12.00 per hour and the University is pleased to offer a percentage of salary in lieu of vacation.
