We are looking for a Manager, Tax Processing Centreto join our Operations Support team. This position is responsible for successfully driving our Tax product results by monitoring the day to day operation of a 80+ person processing centre and implementing initiatives that result in achieving/exceeding established targets.  This position is based out of our corporate office in Victoria, BC.


  • Grow the Easy Tax product through innovation and development
  • Maintain a high level of customer service with field staff they support
  • Monitor EasyTax call takers for information accuracy and service
  • Sound knowledge of tax laws/regulations in all provinces
  • Respond to customer and internal service complaints
  • Respond to customers with special circumstances
  • Monitor reconciliation and compliance process for timeliness and accuracy
  • Ensure controls are in place to mitigate losses
  • Ensure the TPC is staffed for peak season volumes
  • Develop and implement Marketing programs to drive the Tax product
  • Monitor relationship with the CRA in regards to audits and follow ups
  • Assists the National Collections Centre in the collection process for charged-back returns
  • Maintain and comply with EasyTax Policies and Procedures
  • Ensure incoming file volume is completed daily within guaranteed time
  • Compliance with legal obligations to customers and staff
  • Meet expense budgets monthly for labour and supplies
  • Reduce debt generated
  • Recruitment of seasonal and permanent labour as necessary


  • Minimum 3 years in an income tax processing environment with 3 years in a middle management role
  • Post-Secondary accounting courses
    • Personal income tax processing experience and familiarity with income tax processing software
    • Knowledge of personal income tax rules
  • Proficiency with tax processing software and asset
  • Bilingualism in both official languages (English and French) an asset
