An integral member of a small, close-knit team of skilled professionals, you’ll take on a diverse and exciting set of responsibilities—from developing and delivering staff training programs to participating in collective bargaining, grievances and arbitration preparation as well as providing input on strategic HR initiatives. You will report to the Director of Human Resources and can expect opportunities to expand upon your record of accomplishment of facilitating positive change. Using your approachable communication style, you will provide support in the areas of employee recruitment, staffing, collective agreement interpretation and advice, liaising with both school administration and employees. You can also look forward to taking charge of benefits administration as well as managing attendance, performance and employee records.


Your education includes a post-secondary degree in business administration with a major in Human Resources Management from an accredited college or university, and five years or more experience as an administrator in Human Resources Management, preferably in the K-12 educational system.  Handling health and wellness, benefits administration as well as managing disability and medical accommodation, sitting on a number of committees and taking charge of employment contract and criminal record administration will be just some of the tasks you’ll undertake. This is a wide-ranging assignment calling for an experienced HR practitioner and organized problem solver who can work in an environment dedicated to best practices in the human resources field.
