RRU had the pleasure to host two visiting scholars Dr. Dan Wang (Lisa) and Mr. Jinwang Wu (Jim) from Zhejiang Financial College, China (ZFC) between March and June. They will be conducting research, learning about RRU learning models, building relationship and exploring collaboration opportunity between the two institutions. Dr. Wang is associate professor at ZFC and she holds B.A. (Economics), M.Sc. (Economics), and Ph.D. (Economics) from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China. Her research interest focuses on government monetary policy. Mr. Wu is lecturer at ZFC and he holds B.A. (Statistics), Nanjing University of Finance and Economics, Nanjing, China and M.Sc. (Finance), Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, Chengdu, China. His research interest is in finance and financial management. Located in the beautiful city of Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, Zhejiang Financial College was founded in 1975 as Zhejiang Banking School. ZFC now has 50,000 alumni, 8,000 students and 498 staff including 39 professors and 117 associate professors. The college provides practical, market-oriented education in finance, economy and business management, mostly 3 year college diploma programs. ZFC and RRU have signed an MOU this week to further collaboration between the two institutions.
