Our second year MA in Human Security and Peacebuilding students are back for their final residency, which focuses on the field skills necessary for optimum involvement in humanitarian work in a wide variety of situations.
Next week, on Tuesday, April 30, and Wednesday, May 1, six student groups will present their country or community assessments in response to a specific human security and peacebuilding challenge, while modelling the values and practices that encourage trust, co-operation, empowerment and humanitarian objectives with colleagues and clients.
Each morning three groups will present for 40 minutes at 9, 10:10 and 11:20 a.m., in LIC 311.
You are more than welcome to come into the classroom and listen to the presentations as your time permits. After each presentation there will be an opportunity for questions and feedback from the audience, so don’t be shy.
