Join the Tsawout First Nation for a community building fundraiser Oct. 27

Join the Tsawout First Nation in a community fundraiser to build a longhouse Saturday, Oct. 27 from 5 to 10 p.m.

The four-course seafood feast features prawns, salmon, oysters, calms and halibut.

Experience First Nations culture and tradition with the Cowichan TZINQUAW Dancers. Learn about the traditional uses of the Longhouse, and the impotant role it plays in the the lives of the community. Learn as Elders share stories about the Coast Salish culture.

Art Napolean is an award winning singer & songwriter whose words and music can bridge cultures. Actor Adam Beach (Windtalkers, Flags of Our Fathers, Law & Order) will be a guest speaker. Illusionist Eric Bedard is a Tony Award winning performer, and will be sure to amaze the audience.
