Royal Roads, together with universities in Canada and more than 100 countries around the world, will observe International Education Week (IEW) – Nov. 13-16, 2012. The purpose of IEW is to raise the community’s awareness of international education and the contribution it makes in preparing Canadians for living and learning in a globally connected world. For IEW this year, Royal Roads is planning a series of workshops, activities, and contests!
Participate and get involved and you could win prizes from Ali Baba Pizza, Flight Centre Tuscany Village, Habitat Food Services, The Market on Millstream, West Shore Parks and Recreation, and Westshore Town Centre! At every event you attend, you get to enter the draw, so the more you participate, the better chance you have to win great prizes!
We also have a Photo Competition with the winners being chosen by YOU! To enter, simply send a photo about your experience studying, working, volunteering, or travelling in Canada or other parts of the world, to international@RoyalRoads.ca along with the completed entry form. Enter as many times as you like! Photos will be accepted until November 5th and each photo submission will earn you an entry to the IEW draw. Photos will be displayed for voting on the Global Advancement Facebook page as well as in the Quarterdeck during IEW. *Full contest rules and accompanying entry form at www.royalroads.ca/iew.
