Andrew Moore, from the T’Souke First Nation, will be coming to Royal Roads at noon, on Wednesday, July 17 to speak about the T’Souke Energy Experience – going solar and getting off the grid. Imagine your BC Hydro meter running backwards, and BC Hydro buying electricity from you!
Andrew will be speaking to students in the Masters of Environmental Education and Communication residency, and everyone is invited. Find out how this First Nation community has become the largest solar installation on the coast of B.C., and how their community decided to embark on this incredibly ambitious energy independence program.
