he beginning of 2013 was a busy start for Executive Education, as we welcomed to our campus three groups of graduate students for their respective residencies.
The Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching reached a landmark in launching the largest RRU Coaching cohort to date, giving our students the opportunity to build a diverse community network. After an extremely vibrant week of superb instruction from our talented faculty, the Coaches are now back home to continue their Coaching journey.
The Project Management students, whose collective work experience spans a diverse number of industries, shared an intensive week of learning project management and leadership skills, to further enhance their skill sets. Their busy week's schedule included preparing a formal case study presentation to be showcased on their final day. While this is just the beginning of the Project Management students' program, their Life.Changing experiences have already begun. Our Strategic Human Resources Management students have varied backgrounds in the Human Resources sector but all share a common desire to learn how to develop and implement strategic practices to support their respective organizations' objectives. This rigorous and rewarding week was capped by completing a Strategic HR Challenge which they had the excellent opportunity to present to The British Columbia Ambulance Service.
Congratulations to all who learned, and sincere thanks to all who supported!
