Dear students,

Are you interested in gaining practical skills in conflict resolution or post-conflict transition and international justice? Would you like to become part of a worldwide network of peacebuilders? Do you want a study abroad experience in Europe?

If you answered YES to any of the above questions then a summer program with the International Peace and Security Institute (IPSI) may be just what you are looking for to supplement your current studies and elevate your skill set to a higher level than that of the peers you will be graduating with.

Applications for IPSI’s 2015 Symposiums JUST OPENED, and we are looking for bright, motivated applicants for this summer’s line-up of exceptional summer training Symposiums.  To make our programs more affordable, forTEN DAYS ONLYwe are offering the first 10 spots at each Symposium at a $500-$600 discount off the total tuition cost. To qualify for this discount of more than 10%, applications must be submitted before November 10, 2015.

The 2015 Bologna, Italy Symposium on Conflict Prevention, Resolution, & Reconciliation will be held from June 27 – July 25, 2015 at The Johns Hopkins SAIS Bologna Center.  As an effective peace leader, you will need a core toolkit of essential practical skills and a diverse global professional network. In Bologna, you will go through an intensive training process with the world's top practitioners/academics in those core skills and join the ever-expanding IPSI family of over 500 alumni.

The 2015 The Hague Symposium on Post-Conflict Transitions & International Justice will be held from July 4 – July 25, 2015 at the Clingendael Institute of International Relations.  To be effective leader, you will need a broad understanding of available mechanisms, options, and theories, as well as a deep understanding of why some transitions are successful and others are failures. Train with IPSI to gain a cross-sectoral perspective and a global network of practitioners/academics.
