Following an advanced phishing campaign some RRU accounts were compromised, resulting in RRU email being blacklisted. Currently RRU is getting bounce-back emails from Hotmail, Yahoo mail, Bell.ca, Sympatico.ca, Me.com, and possibly others. Updated information can be found on the Computer Services website: http://computerservices.royalroads.ca/system-status/email-webmail
What this means is that some students and faculty who have their email redirected to a personal account will not receive it. This includes messages from Moodle, such as notices about new forum posts and Instructor News and Announcement updates, as well as notifications of assignment submissions, etc..
Please share this information with your stakeholders, and direct all questions to the Help Desk by phone or Online Request Form.
If your cohort has a facebook group, please post this information there as well. It will be helpful to students who have email accounts with any of the above providers as they are unable to recieve my emails.
