Cornerstone ON-CAMPUS Sep 28 - Oct 11

Private - accessible only to group members

On Monday, September 28th, come to the Quarterdeck in the Grant Building between 8:30 and 9:00 am to check in. The Welcome Breakfast and Introductions will begin at 9:00 am. Plan to be on campus full days for these two weeks. During the Cornerstone you will participate in a variety of workshops such as Community Building, Academic Integrity, and Library Research. You’ll also meet university staff who will provide an overview of our support and services.

Your ENMN 300 Foundational Business Skills course continues through these two weeks of the Cornerstone which weaves together the Bachelor of Commerce Program Learning Outcomes. In addition, concepts from a number of disciplines are integrated to help students develop and exercise foundational skills and perspectives that are key to success throughout the program and beyond. Various methodologies are used in FBS to provide students with tools and techniques required to identify and solve problems in cases, write reports and present findings both as individuals and as part of a team. The learning becomes even more applied during the ABC courses when students are immersed in experiences designed to truly bring the real world into the classroom and to take the classroom into the real world.
