Private - accessible only to group members

Hi all, Your program will begin at 9am next Monday morning. Your classroom will be in the Grant Building - Room 321. We will start the day with an Administration session where we will have a bit of an overview of the program and discuss relevant information. Following this, we will have a session where the faculty will introduce themselves and touch on the courses that they will be teaching you. We will then all head to the Quarterdeck for lunch where you will have a chance to sit down and get to know your classmates, faculty, and program staff a bit better. Lunch will be provided. We will end the day with the Math assessment, which will take place in the computer lab in the LIC Building. You will need to have a lab coat, safety goggles, and two lab journals (with pages that can't be removed - binders won't work). We have some lab coats and goggles available here - but you may want to buy your own, and especially if you need a certain type of goggles for your prescription. Also, you will need to bring $60 cash or cheque for your lab manual. Please bring this on Monday.

Looking forward to meeting you all next week! Best, Rhett

Hey Rhett,

A few of us were just wondering what identities and rules would be given for the math section. Should we be memorizing each trig identity and derivative rules, conversions (metric/imperial)..etc? or will we be given a formula sheet. Thanks for your time.

Hi Alyssa,

You will not be given a formula sheet. It would be helpful to know some of the basic trig identities and derivative rules, but for most of the questions you should be able to answer them given the information in the question. And I wouldn't worry about imperial/metric conversions.
