Liza has asked that I share the below message regarding the W. Garfield Weston Fellowship as it may be of interest to some of you:
Dear friends and colleagues,
WCS Canada is pleased to announce our call for applications to the 2014 W. Garfield Weston Fellowship competition. With the generous support of the W. Garfield Weston Foundation, we are offering research fellowships for graduate-level students working on conservation science projects relevant to our two long-term sites in the Canadian boreal. The deadline for applications is February 20, 2014. These fellowships are intended to provide full or partial funding of graduate-level field research and related activities for students to carry out their thesis-related research and are not intended for student salaries.
Please pass this announcement on to any graduate students or supervisors that are conducting relevant research and see the attached document for more details (it can also be found on our website at http://wcscanada.org/Fellowships.aspx). Thank you very much,
