Local Government Management Association of B.C. Scholarships

Ken Dobell Public Service Education Fund Scholarship was established to encourage students with an interest in federal, provincial, local government or First Nations administration and policy studies to pursue post-secondary opportunities. Four scholarships will be awarded of up to $2,500 each, with preference being given to one applicant from each of the four public sectors noted above.

Grant Anderson Commemorative Scholarship was established to encourage students with an interest in local government administration, local government law and governance, and in planning and land-use law to pursue post-secondary education in one of those fields.  The Scholarship shall be for one year and in the amount of up to $1,000 paid upon proof of registration at a post-secondary institution in one of the approved subject areas.

Distinguished Members Legacy Fund Scholarship was established to encourage students with an interest in local government management and administration to pursue post-secondary opportunities. The Scholarship shall be for one year and in the amount of up to $1,000 to be provided to the successful candidate as a voucher to the specified post-secondary institution upon proof of registration.
