Diversity Action Group: Multi-Faith Panel

Royal Roads University’s Diversity Action Group is very excited to present the first of several events this year; a Multi-Faith Panel Discussion. Considering many recent global events, we thought it would be timely to provide a forum to facilitate religious and cultural literacy and mutual respect.
What are some misconceptions or stereotypes and how do faith communities deal with these distortions? What values are shared with other faiths? How do adherents live their faith?
Moderator: Dr. Hassan Wafai from Royal Roads University
Panelists:
- Rabbi Harry Brechner from Congregation Emanu-El
- Reverend Michelle Slater from Oak Bay United Church
- Imam Ismail Nur from Masjid Al-Imam
- Dr. Sudhakar Ganti from Victoria Hindu Temple
